Ollie is a Lead Supervisor in our Vehicle Presentation Team. The team ensure our coaches, buses, minibuses and cars are all cleaned and presented to the highest standards.
“I joined SPS in August 2019 as a driver. Nearly three years later I am now a Lead Supervisor overseeing the VPT team, external bus wash and fleet fuelling. It is critical that all vehicles are cleaned inside and out regularly whilst maintaining a healthy fuel level for the fleet to be ready for service.
While I am fairly new in the position, I have some big ideas for the team and department. I look forward to working with SPS to ensure that we are the leading choice for specialist passenger transport.
Before joining SPS I worked at Bristol Airport as a Ramp Agent for a ground handler later moving into Airport Security as a Security Officer. As you can imagine both roles were fast paced where you had to think on your feet working in an ever-changing environment in all weathers. To say it was a challenge was an understatement at times. The airport would see tens of thousands of passengers operating hundreds of flights every day. Safe to say my experience at the airport taught me a lot of transferable skills that I find I can utilise while working in my current role.
In my spare time I am kept very busy with my young family making memories. I also like socialising with friends who are dotted around the Southwest. I also like gaming and going on days out”.
