SPS delighted to support local youth groups from Youth Unlimited

Somerset Passenger Solutions were delighted to provide the transport for 2 local youth groups from Youth Unlimited for a trip to Exeter.

On Saturday 11th June 2022, SPS Drivers Sian and Hannah set off from the J24 Park & Ride Depot to collect 2 youth groups from Stogursey and Parkway in Bridgwater.  They  were off on a fun trip to Crealy Adventure Park in Exeter.

At pick up Hannah and Sian spoke with the parents and  assured them of the planned route and estimated arrival time back that evening. A few parents were anxious about  the children going as it was their first trip out away from family but they were soon assured they would have a fantastic time.

After arriving in Exeter, the groups were quick to depart the coach and race into the park to enjoy the rides and the sunshine.

After a busy day of thrills and rollercoasters, the groups were back on the coach, exhausted from the sun exposure and the adrenalin from the day. The journey home was considerably quieter than the journey in the morning. A clear run all the way back into Bridgwater made it a very slick day out for everyone involved.

Sian and Hannah said:

“Everyone involved was superb and we felt very proud that we were able to provide such a special day out that the kids won’t be forgetting for a while”.

Craig Lloyd, Youth Worker from Youth Unlimited, said:

“There were lots of comments from the young people how lovely the coach was – top rate service too!  Thank you to everyone concerned at SPS and EDF  for making it possible”.
